Opportunity to explore North Asia trade options

Local exporters or companies interested in entering the export market are encouraged to attend the upcoming Free Trade Agreements seminar in Dubbo, RDA Orana Executive Officer Megan Dixon said.

“Organised by the Federal Government through Austrade, the interactive session will give attendees the opportunity to hear from government and business representatives about the direct benefits of entering the trade movement, thanks to the newly-opened Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with Japan, China and Korea,” Mrs Dixon explained.

“The Australian Government is running these seminars around the country to help businesses explore the opportunities created by the North Asia Free Trade Agreement.”

The interactive session will give business owners and managers an opportunity to hear directly about the practical benefits that they may be able to realise from the FTA.

Speakers include:

  • Mark Coulton MP, Federal Member for Parkes
  • Michael Dean, Free Trade Agreement Division, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade
  • Elena Kirillova, State Director NSW and ACT, Austrade
  • Sally Phillips, Manager Free Trade Agreement Program, Austrade
  • Rob Harrison, Senior Export Adviser, TradeStart
  • AusIndustry
  • Lachlan Chadwick, Managing Director, Australian Beef Group
