Workshop Description

In this workshop Jamie Young, an experienced grant and tender writer, will show you how to research and write winning proposals that get funded. Learn what to do and what not to do to get your project attention. The focus will be on government and major foundation grant writing.

You will:

  • Discover the quickest, most efficient ways to gather information to plan & develop your proposal.
  • Gain a full understanding of the criteria funders use to determine whether your proposal gets funded or rejected.
  • Understand how to address your responses to align with the set of criteria.
  • Become professional at researching government and foundation funders.
  • Cover topics such as documentation requirements, writing a competitive application, understanding legal considerations and submitting your application.
  • Who Should Attend?

    Senior Managers, Economic Development Officers, Engineers. This workshop is designed specifically for experienced grant writers who want to become more competitive with their applications. Jamie will be using the National Stronger Regions Fund Application and Guidelines as an example.
