Juliet Duffy announced as dual finalist

Acknowledged for her contributions and significant achievements in regional and rural communities and excellence in business, Dubbo’s Juliet Duffy has been announced as a dual finalist in the 2018 Women of the Year Awards, nominated for Regional Woman of the Year and Business Woman of the Year.

Juliet’s hard work has been reflected in her roles as Director of Regional EnviroScience and Chair of Western Research Institute, as well as with Regional
Development Australia Orana and Orana Arts.

First established in Dubbo in 2009, Juliet’s company Regional EnviroScience offers consultancy on health and safety hazards residentially and commercially
and helps to develop higher skills in occupational hygiene. Since its inception, Juliet has continued to drive the business forward and has expanded
to include 29 employees on sites across NSW and Qld. The business has also received recognition in the Australian Financial Review’s Fast 100 growing
companies in Australia. Juliet is also a visible advocate for women in STEM.

The Women of the Year Awards will be announced at a gala event in Sydney on March 8, coinciding with International Women’s Day.
