$6 MILLION IN VITAL ROAD SAFETY UPGRADES

The State Government this week announced $6 million in vital road safety upgrades in the Orana region as part of the latest round of the Government's Saving Lives on Country Roads and Liveable and Safe Urban Communities initiative.

The projects will include a $1.5 million spend for work on the Newell Highway between Brocklehurst and Coonabarabran, including audio-tactile centre lines and edge lines, as well as other work in the Narromine, Mid-Western and Dubbo Regional Council areas.
