Every community has hidden gems, what’s yours?
In getting to know your community, we’d like to know about community assets and attributes that you think and would be willing to share with people from outside your community.
They might be able to be developed into something special, that attracts visitors or could be developed into something that becomes a real community asset.
An example of an asset that you might share with the broader public is the primitive campgrounds on the Barwon.
In thinking about your hidden gems, ask yourself these questions:
What buildings could bring a new lease of life if redeveloped?
How do we get people to engage with your magnificent natural and cultural heritage? Are there places of significance that might be attractive to visitors?
